Voting Procedure

Sometimes things don't go as planned

The voting process at the 2025 Annual Meeting did not go as expected. It is not clear why there were issues with the online voting process. To be sure the Board will discuss the voting procedure at the next meeting. If you have comments or suggestions, please send us an email at hoa@fairwindsmukwonago.com.

This is the process that was followed for counting the votes for the Amendments to the Declaration at the meeting.

Proxy votes were tallied prior to the meeting. There was one additional proxy that was submitted at the meeting. This was added during the counting process.

The in person votes were counted by two people who agreed on the results. Once it was clarified that only one vote was allowed per household, several hands went down. We trust there were not multiple votes. We also confirmed that no in person votes had submitted a proxy.

Online votes were counted through both the Poll and Chat functions of the Teams meeting. There were duplicates, but only one vote per household was counted. There were also Anonymous Yes and No votes. Because these could not be linked to a homeowner, they were not counted.

Not everyone voted on both Amendments. The results of the votes can be viewed here.

Again, if you have any questions or comments, please let us know.
